How to reach Amala

By Air
Cochin International Airport (COK) at Nedumbassery is 60 kilometers (38 miles) South of Amala. It is about 1:30 - 2:00 hours drive from Airport.
Calicut Intenational Airport (CCJ) at Karippur is 95 kilometers (59 miles) North of Amala. It is about 2:00 - 2:30 hours drive from Airport.

By Rail
Trichur (Thrissur) Railway Station is only 8 kilometers (5 miles) away from Amala. Amala is just about 15 minutes drive from the Railway Station. All trains plying this route have a stop at Trichur (Thrissur) Railway Station.
 

By Road
Amala is on Thrissur - Kunnamkulam route about 15 minutes from Thrissur Town. If you are coming from Kozhikode (Calicut), Ooty, Mangalapuram (Mangalore), Guruvayur or Kunnamkulam, the hospital can be seen on the right side of the road just 8 kilometers before Thrissur Town. If you are coming from Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) or Ernakulam, first reach Thrissur and take Kunnamkulam / Guruvayur road. After about 8 kilometers, Amala Hospital can be seen on the left side of the road.
