Akshi tarpana is a procedure in which circular formed frames made of a powdered masha (black gram) paste are placed around the eyes. Lukewarm medicated ghee is then poured into the frames and retained for a specified time. 

Effective in the diseases like dry eye syndrome, computer vision syndrome, diabetic retinopathy, refractive errors, conjunctivitis, early cataract formations, glaucoma, insomnia.
